| 1434276 | 2017-04-16 02:16:00 | We have some pictures taken on the Galaxy Tab A and we would like to copy them to our PC. When we plug the tablet into the PC we can see it but cannot access it. It gives us the option to copy the pictures to the Dropbox but when we click okay it says that it is unable to import the pictures. We would be very grateful if someone could tell us what to do. Thank you. |

| 1434279 | 2017-04-16 02:39:00 | On the motherinlaws Galaxy tab, all you do is connect the tablet to the PC - then go to "This PC" (windows 10) but does the same for W7 - then navigate to the DCIM folder and copy to PC. You can also right click the device - import pictures and Video Cant remember if you need to tap anything else on the Tab or not. |

You said, "Cant remember if you need to tap anything else on the Tab or not," and that was what I needed to know because it had "Deny" or "Allow." Once I tapped on that I was able to copy the files over. What surprised me was that the files were jpg, the same as in Windows. Does that mean that jpgs are universal? I also noticed some Word files and found out that they too were compatible with Windows. Speedy: No. It does not have a card but there is a slot for a micro SD card. I'm running Windows 8. Thanks for your help. |

| 1434282 | 2017-04-20 21:59:00 | There are a lot of ways and I favour the direct cable connection used in previous suggestions, but if I do go wireless I use an app called wi-fi file transfer pro I got from the app store. You run it, it gives you an IP address to use in any browser which you type in and get a file browser on the PC. Not quite as good as using the cable but still pretty useful. |
