| 1433960 | 2017-04-09 22:54:00 | I need some advice please. I have to go to France for a few weeks shortly, and I may need to ring my relatives who live there, within France. No need to call outside France. I gather it has to be GSM capable, unlocked, and I would buy a local calling SIM card for it when I arrive. Does that make sense, and any suggestions for what I should buy, here in NZ, please? As dumb a phone as possible, in other words! |

| 1433961 | 2017-04-10 01:44:00 | It is probably easiest to buy a phone and plan in France. There is a lot of competition and prices are reasonable from what I recall. There are lots of phone shops just about anywhere This may help? en.selectra.info |

I don't speak French, but I may give it a go when I arrive. |
