2017-04-04 02:21:00 | Hello, I have been using NZ post's youshop options to buy things from USA . I normally get Clinique beauty products as its cheaper even after paying shipping charge to youshop . There was never an issue till now . Now it says that Skin toner is in dangerous items list and can't be sent to NZ . In earlier months they sent same item without any objections though . Probably I just got lucky . Anyway, Youshop has given me two options . First is to return the items back to merchant . Second use "alternative delivery" method where it will be sent to another USA address . I would be grateful if anyone knows any other shipping agent which handles parcels from USA to NZ . P . s: Clarifying lotion actually is Flammable in that prohibited list . Does that mean it can't be shipped to NZ by any other means at all? I'm clueless about this so in desperate need of advice

2017-04-04 02:39:00 | P.s: Clarifying lotion actually is Flammable in that prohibited list. Does that mean it can't be shipped to NZ by any other means at all? You may find that even NZ's local couriers wont accept this sort of thing, even if it did make it into the country. Things have changed in the last few years. If its in the prohibited list , then as far as you're concerned, you're out of luck. There are ways around it, eg send via land & ship (not air) , but if the several couriers involved wont accept it, and you risk loosing it at customs (if detected) , not much the average person can do. Some senders will send prohibited items regardless, but just because they get sent, doesnt mean they will ever make it out of the country Ive the same issues buying batts from China & US . Last orders all got rejected by the couriers(or customs) . One was returned to sender , others just now missing or stuck forever at a courier depot. Or arrange a Dangerous Goods delivery. Expect to pay $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

2017-04-04 03:13:00 | Sometimes I place an order with Strawberrynet. I know they have different systems in place for shipping items such as perfumes and toners, as opposed to cream based and other products. I am not sure how their prices would compare to your favoured supplier but you could email them and see what their response is. It is a while since I have used them so I am not sure if they have a "Chat" section as part of their site. I know this doesn't answer your need to find another agency for shipping purposes but it could give you some idea of where else to start looking. | Marnie (4574) | |

2017-04-04 06:10:00 | Thanks everyone. This one seems like a lost case. I will just ask them if they can remove the lotion and send other stuffs to NZ. If not well just have to return it. Paying youshop to ship to another shipping agent and then having to re-ship to NZ seems like a lot of hassle, expensive and product would be still in prohibited list. Looked into that oversized category of youshop as it does ship via sea frieght. It showed charge of of $557. My products only cost me $68. I still can't believe skin toner would be dangerous :(

2017-04-06 00:37:00 | I still can't believe skin toner would be dangerous :( Its..not..all..about..you Its about the safety of couriers, the safety of those at the depots, the safety of those at customs, the safety of those in planes carrying your package. Do you not think couriers etc have the right to not have glue, alcohol, paint, liquids, beauty products etc not spill on them and other goods from leaking or broken products Cant have a separate law just for your one product on the chance its not so dangerous . :) You have options. Arrange dangerous goods delivery AS REQUIRED BY NZ LAW , or by locally . Local products price may also increase as they will be having the same issues .
