Oh no, not for 2 months, not back on my visa (that I used in first place) etc etc.I'm just the start of a billing period, so I just won't pay and let them worry about it. Not a debt collection issue as I'm supposed to pay in advance.

1433851 2017-04-07 01:16:00 I use Sunshine Bag & Bin, and I've never had a problem with them. I think they're owned by Waste Management so they have those systems in place. I don't have enough garden waste to schedule a regular pickup but I find when I phone to book they answer the phone promptly and they're pleasant people to deal with. I'd forgotten to book the last collection and was arriving home just in time to flag their driver down. He was happy to wait while I retrieved my green bin and took it to the truck for loading - and also chose to "forget" about payment. Christmas time will see a tray on its way to that driver ... 1433854 2017-04-07 04:33:00 How long have you got? Basically they never collect on the day they are supposed to, and a few times lately they have been up to two weeks late, and then only collected after repeated phone calls. The two-week delay also means that (in theory at least) there is only two weeks before the next collection, which means that frequently there is hardly anything to collect - which is hardly cost-effective for me.

Sorry to hear that, Tony.

Collections are very regular, never missed a single one. So far, only twice they came to collect it the second day.

1433855 2017-04-07 06:22:00 Well, whaddya know - wonderful what an ultimatum can achieve. I'd warned Greenfingers that the next time the collection was late it would be their last one - and for the first time in living memory (literally - I can't remember the last time it happened) the bin was collected on the due date - today.

I still need to remind them that this has to become routine, but maybe this is the start of a brighter future (or not...)
