Just to finalise the thread - I decided not to risk SmartBuyGlasses NZ. I went to my daughter's optometrist in Albany - called Albany Optometrists funnily enough. They found several frames to the design I wanted, despite me being told by other NZ optometrists that they are not made any more because the design is out of fashion. Albany Optometrists provided great service, and even though they were more expensive than SmartBuyGlasses, I got what I wanted and had professional personal service rather than buying over the internet. I will continue to use them when we visit our daughter, rather than the optometrists I have used where I live. |
