| 1434582 | 2017-04-26 00:15:00 | Recently, pop-up ads have been appearing on lower right hand corner of my PC screen periodically and are proving very hard to remove without accepting the "Click here to download" box. The latest is for an upgrade to a more expensive version of Ccleaner. I find this persistent push push push a proper PITA. Is there a thingy to prevent these ? Cheers |

The annoying bit was my inability to remove the window without clicking on the "download" button which then brought up all the speil about upgrading to the premium version. I have a feeling that similar pop up has happened before but for a different product. |

The only pop up you should get is either one saying theres X number of MB/GB that can be cleaned, or a pop up saying there is a newer version and that's simply a click of yes or no, or close it. |
