| 1434558 | 2017-04-25 09:54:00 | Friend came from overseas and stays in one of the hotels in Auckland CBD. I haven't been to the CBD for years and this afternoon went down there to meet my friend. To my surprise and 'embarrassment', Auckland CBD is in such a bad shape! Roads, buildings, shops are badly maintained and presented; even the hotel entrance, lobby, are like a third world country. It's like a slum town. Remember, years ago, our city council spent millions of dollars to 'beautify' the CBD, but, look at it is now, what can I say other than : "SAD, SAD, SAD" |

Why the hell did they go on with the white elephant of a new train track and talk of a new downtown stadium. Surely if they had their heads on straight Council would have got their priorities sorted before such stupid things we can't afford at this time. Goff is no better than down-trou Brown in wanting more. He has to cut his cloth with what he has got and not dream of getting the moon! Bull-doze the lot and start again if you want to spend money. | Bryan (147) | ||
