| 1434386 | 2017-04-18 08:24:00 | I have been sent an mp3 file that I can't open in Audacity. I just a audio file that gives a lot of noisy rubbish. This audio file is results for the local camera club, and I need to edit and fiddle the file to put together a professional looking presentation to give the Club. I suspect the file I received has been done on an Apple computer. I have PC and need to be able to access the file in Audacity for editing purposes. So - any suggestions as to what I do? The last time I had this problem I used VLC successfully to reconvert it, but don't seem to be able to do it this time. My computer set-up is a PC with Windows 10. Suggestions for a free programme that would convert it to a version of mp3 that Audacity would read would be great. :) And I'm not sure why I can't use VLC to complete the job this time. I've around the blocks on this one, but so far, it has been unsuccessful. :( So - as always - TIA for the help I receive here! |
