1434378 2017-04-18 07:31:00 The user account control is continually reacting to some of my software as being unknown! I have known this software for 20 years. It is stupid, doesn't learn. I tried an app (UAC trust) which is supposed to bypass the control, but it often doesn't work. Is there a way to exclude individual software from UAC without adding software? I could turn it off, but this would be a security risk. mzee (3324)

1434380 2017-04-19 03:56:00 I had UAC on once, but soon turned it off, like Gary. Too much of a pain in the neck. Terry Porritt (14)

So do I. With the same result.

1434385 2017-04-19 21:31:00 Mine is set to not notify me if changes are made by me (one notch down on scale). Never see warnings with this.

When it was all or nothing, I always turned it off.
