1484515 2022-02-23 00:23:00 Hi Guys

In Windows 11 does anyone how to create a shortcut on the taskbar so when you click on it it'll minimize every window onto the taskbar?

You used to be able to right click on Windows 10 taskbar then select 'show desktop' but for Windows 11 its now on the bottom right and it doesn't work thru team viewer.

Thanks

1484516 2022-02-23 00:46:00 Can you get Start - M to work through teamviewer? They probably have Start mapped to another key. psycik (12851)

Win k/b button + D : shows the desktop

bottom right corner , in the last 1mm of the corner : click there & it minimizes everything

I just tried both with Win11 & Teamveiwer

As long as the Mouse is active on the remote, Windows key + D Will instantly show the desktop (on the remote).

Personally don't use Team viewer, not since they charge so much for it. Use a different remote these days works just as well if not better :)

Interesting. What are you using? Anydesk ?

Teamviewer also have horrendous costs to upgrade to their newer versions. No free upgrades from them .
And there are some compatibility issues between some versions (ie they wont connect). So you can be forced to pay for the upgrades . :badpc:

Using a program called Remote Utilities. www.remoteutilities.com Its free for both home and business usage. BUT has a limit of 10 Connections for the free version. You get a free Licence AND if you want you can set up your own Server to host the connections instead of using theirs. (haven't got around to that one yet) The link to the free licence - ( from their Support Page) www.remoteutilities.com Even the paid option is not to bad.( more connections)

Its quite easy to use ( setup) but under the documentation it gives full instructions. :)

1484521 2022-02-23 08:37:00 Adding to above, while the Free has a limit of 10 connections, those are 10 permanent connections, so if you only connecting once or twice, once finished simply delete the connection.

For example as well, I have several customers that are permanent, and show as online all the time, as I remote in and do maintenance after normal business hours.
