Problem was we had an impasse whereby the Paid/Salaried Staff didn’t agree with with a number of Councillors, so the “Cindy’s Lot” appointed Commissioners of “Cindy’ Persuasion” to run the place, and what a shambles. Take a look at THIS. (www.nzherald.co.nz) “More than 16,000 people have illegally driven through the Links Ave bus lane, according to the Tauranga City Council. Four weeks into the trial, 8000 infringement notices have been issued, the council said in a statement.” They can’t get their head around the fact that if 16000 offend in a month and 8000 get $150 tickets in two weeks then they must have a problem with their whole exercise. $1.2m in 2 weeks is good money if everyone pays and I can’t see that happening. I only became aware of this because visitors from Auckland followed their Navman to my place and got a $150 ticket for their trouble. The Lunatic’s have the keys to the Asylum! |
