1484240 2022-02-26 09:45:00 I used to use mailwasher many years ago but never really liked it that much, maybe it's more convenient these days but when I used it I had to first launch mailwasher to do it's thing and scan through the headers marking spam etc, then launch the email client to read my email. Seemed a bit tedious to me.
In any case it's irrelevant now because I just use the Gmail webmail in a browser and their spam filter works really well for me also. Just checked it and the only thing in it that wasn't spam was the hut lovers pizza hut adds and I'm not upset about that. First time I've looked in the spam folder in months so 1 false spam is pretty good.

For me personally I abandoned Email clients because of my own bad habits, back when I was still using outlook and pop3 was king I would check my email on different devices and then not be able to find it again because I didn't know which one had downloaded it.
I know that's not an issue with the right settings these days but I got into the habit of using web mail on my devices and never saw a reason to go back.
