741456 2009-01-23 09:45:00 The idea is quite exciting! So, it should probably be possible to synchronize data on multiple computers. It would solve a lot of admin problems...but does it really work? Has someone already experience with synchronizing data like that? I am much on the way and therefore seek a possibility to access my working folders, important files and e-mail from my Notebook and Desktop Pc. I already heard of a lot of Sync programs and wanted to ask for your experiences in general. Perhaps someone has a tip on how to do this the easiest way? Greetings, nena nena (14554)

But you would have to pay for it, to get more features

741460 2009-01-25 05:54:00 not sure what you meant when you say syncing data to solve admin problems...
however I do sync my data from destkop/usb flash drive/notebook using SyncBack, the free version
worked so far and it keeps the data on all three places up to date

741461 2009-01-25 06:34:00 Its for Mac OS X, but I use ChronoSync to keep my documents folder and desktop folder synced between my iMac and Macbook. Great software - quick and reliable which is rare. :) maccrazy (6741)
