740911 2009-01-21 21:15:00 I have a Vista Ultimate PC cabled to a Dynalink RTA1025W router.
Also I have a Linksys PABT (VOIP) box connecting our phone thru to the router.
We have a high-speed plan from Xnet.
Every time I try and listen to my fav radio station online (95BFM) Windows Media Player (WMP) will stop after a couple of minutes and I have to press play to restart it. www.95bfm.co.nz

I have played round with the content buffer but nothing seems to work.
I'm wondering where is the problem? Is it with WMP, my router, the combination of PC & VOIP or is it the website the radio streams from?
Also I want to try and use iTunes as a player but can't find a way to load 95BFM on as a station.

740912 2009-01-21 21:31:00 Try VLC media player, see if you have the same issues. wratterus (105)
740913 2009-01-21 21:39:00 I couldnt see how to get Itunes to work with it either.

But when I clicked on the link, Mediamonkey played it fine

740914 2009-01-21 22:09:00 OK, I got iTunes and VLC to work. But I still have the same problem. It keeps cutting-out no matter how much buffering I do. supersi (8401)
740915 2009-01-21 22:53:00 Try it somewhere else or with a different PC to rule out your internet connection/your PC. wratterus (105)

Ditto!
Have you checked your download speed (www.nzdsl.co.nz)?
Have you tried the lower quality/dial-up feed to see if it still happens?

I connect through Xnet.
I use VLC.
I listen to BFM every day through it, listening right now.

I do use the 32kbps one not 128.
