544760 2007-04-27 07:26:00 Well I finally got a decision from the review officer at DRS and they have quashed ACC's decision. They also qoute that "ACC is to provide funding for Mr G**** shoulder surgery". I'm not going to cheer just yet as these brain dead b*****s could well appeal and take it to the District Court. I think I would relish the opportunity to put the boot in to them as they shot themselves in the foot (twice)- yet again. The document I received from the DRS and the way it has been written and formatted is almost like what a lawyer would submit verbally in evidence to a judge. I believe I mentioned that the review officers are lawyers in their own right in my previous posts. The dork who was the advocate for ACC was a real spin doctor and will probably end up in government unless he keeps his finger off the trigger that shot his feet off! Not only did he lie on more than one occasion, he also attempted to take the injury back as far as 1997 (when no injury occured or was recorded) but could not provide evidence from any doctors notes to substantiate his assertion.
In a way I do hope it goes to court if only to show that these brain dead b*****'s can be beaten but also to give some hope to those on this forum who I know have had similar experiences and perhaps given up. Never, ever let these plonkers get the better of you. They are a government monopoly with the sole task of preventing you from the treatment and care that you are entitled to! The adds on TV for those of you in my position must be a bloody sad joke to watch and listen to.
BTW I was brought up in Glasgow hence my bolshie hard nosed and completely "never lie down and take it" attitude.
I will keep you informed as to ACC's decision.
Regards Gordon.

I would love to know how much of the $600M they lost after the 87 crash.

A classic example of why it is a good idea to post feedback/results in the original thread.

Greg, see here (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) and the thread that sparked it off here (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz).

Gordon: Good results, keep it up!

Good point FoxyMX but I am sure Greg would have seen the original post.
He is just making another one of his pointless posts.

Well done Gordon, I admire your persistance and keep us informed.

544767 2007-04-28 01:07:00 Thanks all for your support. Sorry, I should have put the post in the original thread-just wasn't thinking straight. I have to take 120mg of Codeine just to get my left arm up to the typewriter or it's a case of typing with one hand. After the Codeine kick in I have about half an hour's grace then my thought processes tend to go out the window. I will keep you posted.
Regards Gordon.

Yeah, well R2x1 now you might just appreciate what I mean about thought processes. At the moment I probably have about 10 minutes before one eye goes west and the other east and all fingers are just thumbs. I faithfully promise to call it a keyboard from now on! Greg was quite right about posting in the original thread-I just waited too long and lost the plot a trifle. If I try to type-oops-use the keyboard after a certain point I can hardly even read it myself. If you see any typos you know I am on another planet. I hope you can bear with me-Codeine aint the nicest drug to be on. This will certainly be the last post tonight as I can feel the effects coming on. Will just have a look at the posts and naff off to bed shortly.
Regards Gordon.
