A company either has to compete with other companies on price, or on innovations and providing something that competitors don't offer eg. a niche product. It appears that F&P are now just going to be a cut price provider of whiteware. The public are also to blame, as people will now often just buy the cheapest product, no matter what brand it is or where it is made. |
