| 544345 | 2007-04-25 23:18:00 | Does Freeview require you to get a set top box for each TV in a household, or do you only need one for the entire house? | byte (11156) | ||
| 544346 | 2007-04-25 23:31:00 | If the same channel is fine for each set, you can use one box, possibly with an added distribution amplifier; but if each TV is to have individual channel selection, one box per TV is needed, perhaps with a distribution amp before any splitting of the incoming signal. The set-top boxes available at present convert one channel at a time, so you can only record the channel you are watching, just like Sky. Multi-tuner set-top boxes will probably be available "soon", but "soon" is a variable time. |
