740876 2009-01-26 07:43:00 I have run the EZSetup but it did not arrive at the hold the red button for 3 seconds bit as it is already setup. So now I am on the properties page or whatever it's called to manually set it up. Please tell me where I actually should be. karbren (14078)
740877 2009-01-26 08:05:00 I have done and since I have updated the firmware this has made it all possible to use the EZySetup, so now I have set it up with WPA Personal and have my sons laptop on a secured network. All I need to do later is get the connection sorted out for the printer since it can used via the router as well. Thanks for your help Blam6. karbren (14078)
740878 2009-01-26 08:11:00 Did you do ALL this:

Install the Asus tools(EZSetup etc) to a PC connected to the router.

Run EZsetup on the PC, it'll then tell you to hold the EZsetup button on the back of the router for three seconds(red button I think)

Enter ISP details, then when it says security and passkey etc select WPA-PSK, or WPA2 if it allows that option.

740879 2009-01-26 08:16:00 I already had the EZySetup installed but it did not ask for the red button to be reset but did ask for the quick setup on the internet. I signed in and put my ISP under SSID and then chose WPA Personal TKIP, put in password and the configured my sons laptop. I saved all of this, then rebooted the router, re-connected and all is done. karbren (14078)

740883 2009-01-29 05:25:00 I connected a second computer wirelessly to my ASUS router but when I open my ASUS properties or whatever it's called, and when I checked my client list of what is connected to it. My daughter's computer only shows up with a question mark above the computer icon. What does this mean? It doesn't matter how much I change and re-do the connection it comes up the same. Also I can't seem to get the printer working through the router. It tells me it's kind of set up but when I push print it shows that it is printing but nothing happens with the printer. Any answers? karbren (14078)
