740867 2009-01-22 08:59:00 Have not found Bios yet as I can't use my computer to fix. There are things I need to sort out first. karbren (14078)
740868 2009-01-26 05:13:00 Where do you find the Bios? As the website did not tell what I needed to know and one would like help to add more wireless connections to my router. karbren (14078)
740869 2009-01-26 06:14:00 You need to update the FIRMWARE, not the bios(its similar but not the same

Once you've done that you use the the EZsetup cd and manual that comes with your router to easily create a network, then you get other computers to connect the network you've created.

Do a printscreen and post it here if you're unsure/stuck.

740870 2009-01-26 06:37:00 Have updated firmware and it is the latest but now I need to know how to add another computer to this plus change it to WPA from WEP to make sure I am fully secured thus giving myself the know how next time. karbren (14078)
740871 2009-01-26 06:44:00 I suggest you ditch everything and do this to change to WPA

Install the Asus tools(EZSetup etc) to a PC connected to the router.

Run EZsetup on the PC, it'll then tell you to hold the EZsetup button on the back of the router for three seconds(red button I think)

Enter ISP details, then when it says security and passkey etc select WPA-PSK, or WPA2 if it allows that option.

All you need to do is turn on the other computers, double click the wireless icon in the Notification area(next to time) and select the network to connect to then enter in the network key.

740872 2009-01-26 07:19:00 So how do I ditch the settings in order to put the new settings in? karbren (14078)
740873 2009-01-26 07:24:00 It overwrites the settings automatically when you re-run EZSetup. Blam (54)
