Optical Drive:20X Dual Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Burner LightScribe w/ Nero Software =I would want 1 x Blue Ray player and 1 x 22x dvd burner. Graphics:PlayTech approved Nvidia Geforce GTX 295 1792MB PCI-E 2.0 Dual Core Graphics card =What does that mean:You cant choose which Graphics card you want in the computer that you want to buy? Oh and that free game comes with XFX graphics cards, not from the shop. Lighting:PlayTech gaming lighting (choice of Blue, Red, Green,White, Gold) =Do you need this it wont make your computer go faster,so you could save some money if you did not get it. Warranty:1 Year Return to Base Warranty ( Upgrade to 3 Years for $99 incl.GST ) That sucks,I mean what's the warranty that each individual computer component has anyway 1,2,or 3 year's anyway. See what other shops can do such as Ascent,Computer Lounge etc. they may have better set ups and or cheaper and a better warranty as well. |

| 740836 | 2009-01-21 21:19:00 | I dont think there is much room for pci add in card memphis, adding a dedicated sound card would be a waste considering the mobo already has HD sound and the slots are a premium.... While the 295 is the ultimate graphic card at present, I would be tempted to drop the 295 in favour of the 285, and purchase another 285 in above 6mths after a price drop or get the gtx300 when released. The 295 suffers with high bandwidth and AA at high res, and isnt really neccessary unless you have a 30" LCD Very nice case....... |

| 740838 | 2009-01-22 05:21:00 | Thanks all. I do have a 30 inch dell monitor to go with it. I had the monitor for a bout 3 years now. It initially came with the nvidia 7950GTX card that is required at the time power the monster. That card is about a grand at the time. I have just told them to go ahead with the order and they said to change the water cool to a good air cool and push the damn thing to 4ghz. I didn't want a blueray drive as I don't watch too much high def movies as there are currently not too much good movies around. I can purchase a drive later on if I want to watch them. I have spent a lot of money on the machine I had before it was damaged. THe card is a galaxy brand and I haven't had anything like that b4 as I've always purchased asus. They don't have Asus so this will do. the Next machine I built will be in 2 years. Most machine will last about 2-3 years. The last one I had was AMD64-3200 1.8 oc to 2.4. So thanks for all your input and see If I can push this baby any further. | cityhunter2000 (8700) | ||
