742043 2009-01-26 04:30:00 My PC runs XP Pro.
I have always liked the old MS game Fury3 & decided to load it on.
All OK - it runs well - but only using the keyboard.

I found an old Wingman Extreme Joystick &thought I'd use it for this game so installed it. After a bit of mucking about I got it to register in Game Controllers and I calibrated it - works fine.

TROUBLE IS - the game FURY3 doesn't see it. When I try to change from keyboard to joystick in the game controls - it just doesn't find it.

I have downloaded the Logitech Wingman Extreme drivers & program and set it for use with older games but still it won't work in FURY3.

Has anyone got any ideas what to do to fix it and make FURY3 see & use it?

Run>devmgmt.msc>enter

742046 2009-01-26 07:26:00 No exclamation marks - it works fine - except in FURY3! straka01 (310)
742047 2009-01-26 07:37:00 After a google search seems like its a common prob...looks like you're out of luck:( Blam (54)
742048 2009-01-26 07:49:00 There must be a work-around somewhere... straka01 (310)
742049 2009-01-26 08:09:00 Maybe some other brand of joystick (a more modern one) is compatible with this game - any ideas? straka01 (310)
742050 2009-01-26 08:25:00 Probably...it helps to google it first;)

"Joystick model" then "FURY3"

742051 2009-01-26 08:26:00 If this is a game made for win95 98 it may only work with a serial type controller. Driftwood (5551)
742052 2009-01-26 08:59:00 What do you mean ? I have a serial connection for the joystick on my sound card - that works. Do you mean I need a different driver? Please elaborate???? straka01 (310)
