| 741961 | 2009-01-25 21:44:00 | Have a CX1500 epson printer which has just spat out a "service required" message. "Parts inside your printer are at the end of their service life. See your printer documentation." 1) I haven't got the documentation. 2) Tried the Epson website but can't find any information. 3) Right in the middle of something & need it urgently - as per Murphy's Law ! If anyone has any ideas or knows a way to get it printing again without having a service ... i'd certainly appreciate it. Regards, Dave. |

It's probably a counter and its reached it's 5,000 pages or something. Ink light is on solid but cartidges OK .... thought the damn thing might have given a bit of warning before switching itself off .... right in the middle of a 20 page run ! Hoping there may have been a way to reset it and carry on printing for a while. |
