Race means nothing to me, in the sense that I have blah blah of Scottish blood, blah blah of Irish blood, blah blah of Yugoslavian blood, and a cup full of Maori, blah bloody blah.:rolleyes: Colonisation, people evolving religiously, mindfully, and in the way we live. I'm not saying that we evolved well im just saying it happens, it will happen, hundreds of years from now we are going to be blamed for ..... the net or communication through forums that made our youngsters turn green??? :eek: The fact is that a government cannot and should not have the power to tell us how to discipline our children. Smack or not. They have no right and if they do start to do this ...... what next? That people............ is the question, stop getting sidetracked from what really matters. I dont care who started it. I want our children to feel safe mentally and physically and i also want our children to grow up and have respect of everyone and thing. I dont think letting them get the upper hand is going to help out psycologically. But I am sick to death of seeing young kids walking the streets swearing and yelling, pushing people around and trashing peoples property. The answer... I dont think it is telling parents to smack or not, possibly giving them more options with discipline outside of the house as well as in. A child who commits a crime should face a punishment worthy of said crime. Juvie??? Prison??? All I can say is ... thank god my child is a teen (he is now old enough to do the time if he thinks its worth it to do the crime) (i see all children, no matter the colour or how poor or rich they are, who think that this behavior is cool). Well put. |

We as humans have a choice, so the Europeans bought the booze and drugs over, who really cares who started what and bought over what, we still have a choice to use or not? Its not like they forced it down our throats? xcept religion. |
