545708 2007-05-01 06:16:00 I just uploaded a 1600x1600 avatar (see over there <- ) and it looks fine..what's all this about resizing them?Right click over your avatar and select properties to see its details. Your avatar is now a 80x60 px 2.08 KB mini version. Nifty eh? :p Jen (38)

Haven't you guys learned anything? You can use the internet ([url=http://snipshot.com/) to quickly edit images. The desktop is slowly (or quickly) moving to the browser as has been pointed out many times...

Aside from that, it looks like avatars are hosted from the server and massaged file size/dimension wise, as Jen noted.
