| 741955 | 2009-01-25 19:38:00 | Recently when I access Outlook Express it always greets me with a fault warning - it is unable to access my server. When I hit the icon again it always works the second time. I use XT and have an independent icon to access my server (Slingshot) before I decide if I want to use Mozilla for general browsing or go to my mail through Outlook Express. I'm out of ideas. Tom |

| 741959 | 2009-01-26 10:01:00 | So you initiate connection first via Dial-Up Networking, then run OE, or do you let OE start the connection? I recall there's an option under the DUN (or modem) connection settings to log the progress of the connection to a file. Not having a modem, I can't find this (Advanced setting somewhere?), but if you can & take a look at the file, it might indicate why things aren't going right first time. |
