| 741716 | 2009-01-24 20:35:00 | I use MSWorks v4.5 as I find its fast reliable and does everything I and any member of my family seem to want. Much faster and easier than OFFICE or the latest versions of Works. But there is a minor problem. It works well on my desktop and laptop running XP (and also on the very old 486 running win98) But on another laptop (running XP) it refuses to give me access to TaskWizards - USER DEFINED TEMPLATES All the other templates are there but no sign of the one I want. As I have never met this problem before in about 10 years using the program on far too many computers to even remember, I am utterly stumped as ot what I have done wrong. Any suggestions? |

As I closed down from entering the above request I had the sudden original thought "Why not reinstall the program" I didn't even need a complete re installation - just a repair and add missing files!! Its working fine now. You would think that after so many years I would have known to try a re install first. After all its the advice I have given many others. Ah well |
