I want to setup a gateway PC to allow bandwidth management. Here is a what I want Telecom Thompson wireless modem/router | Gateway PC (On 1 NIC) | Dlink wireless router (No WAN support and turned DHCP off) | all other PCs On the gateway PC I have 2 IPs. one is 192.168.0.88 and 192.168.1.254. Anyone know what else I need to do to get the gateway pc and all other pcs to the internet and have the gateway pc running a control bandwidth software. Thanks. |

At home, my laptop is connected via Ad Hoc to another laptop and the home computer. My Asus laptop is then connected to the Internet via dial-up. In order to share the Internet connection, all I need to do is to direct the other laptop and the home computer to seek out my laptop's connection by entering my laptop's IP address into the "Default Gateway" (TCP/IP option, under properties of NIC). Cheers :) |
