| 742779 | 2009-01-28 12:06:00 | I've just bought a new hard drive to replace my exisiting one as my boot drive. What tests should i do to check whether the new drive is faulty/bad sectors etc or not? I've done the obvious, Seatools and WD diagnostics...are there any others I could try before i switch drives? Thanks |

| 742780 | 2009-01-28 17:08:00 | Why bother? A harddrive will fail when its good and ready too. May be 7 days, may be 7 years The only thing you can do to prepare yourself for impending failure is to make sure you back up needed data regularly |
