548241 2007-05-08 07:56:00 This morning before I went to work I switched on the TV and it showed me the Rain Fade message, and I just got home, switched on the TV again, and the same message still there.

I have reset the decoder.

I have tried to called SKY on 0800759759 and it said

This is a short message for all digital subscribers, due to high volume of calls we are unable to answer your call right now, please try again later.

So .. Any one who has SKY digital in Hamilton area are having problems or just me?

"Just got through to Sky. I had to go in to advanced settings and change the satallite to Optus D1-T5L (was D1-T6L). Now everything works fine."

548248 2007-05-08 10:12:00 Last tuesday i was watching the americas cup at 2.30am and next thing i get a sofware download coming from sky which took ten minutes it was then i realised that my satellite settings had changed from optus b1 to d1 even though it was coming from d1 while the satellite said it was b1.
Sky said they had to update the software to the correct readings.

Sky also said they are doing updates sporadically throughout the country over the next few weeks or so, though today seems to be a day where they are doing a lot of updates and causing lots of customers to have no tv.

548249 2007-05-08 11:40:00 Had this trouble with a customer today. She was watching the sailing and then the screen turned black. Rang sky for her and they got me to change some sat settings. pine-o-cleen (2955)
