Here's a guy whose only claim to fame is that he's a not-very-good All Black hooker, who can't throw the bloody ball in straight when it matters, who lives in the area where a wind farm is going. He opposes it because it will block his view. What's green about that? Not In My Back Yard, more like. |

| 547755 | 2007-05-06 22:50:00 | I haven't seen what you refer to but have read a good article in North and South about Anton Oliver. He is that fairly rare individual - a sports star with intellect. He has the right amount of gravitas, is able to express himself, and comes across as sincere. Every cause needs leaders and if Anton uses his All Black profile to enhance the wind farm challenge, then all power to him. |
