| 547623 | 2007-05-06 08:04:00 | I had a A1000 6GB.... Good sound, looks very nice, desktop software was the biggest load of crap i have ever seen. I think that is an issue with many music players on the market, while they might "look" great and have lots of additional features, the supplied software and additional features generally leave a lot to be desired when it comes to the user experience. That is probably why there are a number of smaller MP3 player makers like Creative (Zen), Sony(Walkman), Dell(Ditty?), Microsoft(Zune) and Toshiba(Gigabeat) struggling to be successful. |

| 547625 | 2007-05-06 08:49:00 | iPod,creative and samsung would be the better choice. Creative are currently looking at selling iPod accessories since their Zen isn't selling at all and the US $100 Million that they got when they successfully sued Apple is fast disappearing (Article here arstechnica.com). I think Samsung are probably better at making large quantities of RAM (they are the biggest supplier in the world) than they are at making MP3 players (with software). |
