| 744115 | 2009-02-02 03:46:00 | I have installed a new hard drive (250Gb Seagate) into my PC, replacing a secondary drive (40Gb Western Digital) . Now I can see my primary drive and XP is booting off this, but I can't see the drive I have just installed . A balloon tip came up after I had installed it saying 'new hardware detected' and it was installed . I can see the drive in device manager, just not in 'my computer' . The old drive letter was F: if that helps . I also have a CD-RW drive and a DVD-RW drive . |
