743478 2009-01-31 11:40:00 Sorry Speedy i updated my previous post with more info.

Should i still delete all of them?

(Do you have Yahoo or MSN or something so this will be easier?)
Luppi (12974)
743479 2009-01-31 11:46:00 Should be safe to delete those files. Nope, I dont use Yahoo (all you get are annoying bots), or MSN..

I shouldnt even be here :p It's 1/4 to 1 in the morning

743480 2009-01-31 11:48:00 Deleted all the files in the temp folder and the problem keeps coming back.

How the hell can i get rid of it?
Luppi (12974)
743481 2009-01-31 11:49:00 When does it tell you its corrupted?

When you delete whats in it, or what?

I could prob check out your system with teamviewer remotely (I'll get into your system from here), to see whats happening. But it probably wont be till later today

743482 2009-01-31 11:52:00 It tells me it's corrupt right after i access any extension file.Opera.exe for browsing or anything, and i can't save pictures in paint or download anything,i mean open the downloaded files.

I can delete them without a problem and run it without any notice for 2 minutes, untill it comes back.

743483 2009-01-31 11:56:00 Well if you want, I'll check it out remotely later on

I'm off to bed

743484 2009-01-31 12:24:00 Please let me know when you're here.

Meanwhile,if anybody else has any idea on how to fix this temp folder being corrupt problem please let me know,i'd be eternally gratefull.

Other then that,my laptop is now working fine.

(On a sidenote,i have a notice about a MMC Ricoh Host Controller driver that i need to update but is labeled as Risky in DriverScanner.Should i update this?)
Luppi (12974)
743485 2009-01-31 16:12:00 Okay.Good news.

I have managed to update my display driver,Intel Ports drivers and now the laptop is working fine.My display has improved dramatically in quality and i have no reported errors.

I have scanned it with CCleaner,TrojanRemover,MalawerByter,Spybot S&D,immunized it,updated my avg and did a registry scan with both TuneUp Utilities 2009 and Registry Booster.I corrected every error that appeared.

I used the recommended chkdsk utility to solve the corrupt temp folder problem and now that has been settled, and the laptop is booting normally and is responding in a timely fashion.

I just want to know what any of you think about this sudden onset of problems, fthe blue screen with system error whilst i was moving some pictures from folder to folder, then not loading .sys files, then booting extremely slowly and freezing, and now after a sc /scannow and two chkdsk's + updated drivers it is working okay.

What could have caused this? Should i be worried in the future?
Luppi (12974)
743486 2009-01-31 21:13:00 The event viewer errors said you had NTFS file system errors - these would have been fixed by chkdsk. There is no way of predicting whether you will have any in the future, If you do, it is probably indicating a HDD problem. Replace it.

As for worrying about the future, we all should be worrying about the future of our data if we haven't got recent and reliable backups. Imaging is good as it will get your system AND data back.

Backup and relax - life is too short for worrying:D

743487 2009-01-31 21:18:00 Yeah,it's working fine,and i'm relaxing.

I fixed my ntfs problmems, corrupt data, temp, everything is hunky dory.

I just thought somebody might notice a pattern or something for that sudden onset of symptoms.
