549928 2007-05-16 10:42:00 Since around 30-40 in my extended family including my mother (or atleast she was) and all 4 of my grandparents, its crazy to label a whole profession just because of the actions of just one clearly disturbed person. If the editor of the US PC World has gone and stabbed his boss for being fired and kicked out, does that means that all PC World and indeed computer magazine editors are crazy? beeswax34 (63)

Of course. We have the precedents, they should all be micro-chipped and banned from smacking each other.

(I put it all down to poor toilet traning.)

549930 2007-05-16 18:15:00 I think all magazine editors should spend a required amount of time in the "fold-and-staple" department for a while each month..say for a week or so.

Teach 'em the trench workers motto....just don't let them handle sharp, pointy objects.

549931 2007-05-16 21:06:00 As seen in this latest news story:

www.nzherald.co.nz

Doctors are obviously out of control. We need legal action to stop these crazed professionals before more victims of their vicious rage suffer.

I think this thread is in very poor taste.
Sure some doctors are better than others, but there's no such thing as a bad doctor.

Suggest you run a poll on bad editors, or on alleged PC magazines.:p

549932 2007-05-16 21:17:00 Jeez people, it was freakin joke. Next time I'll put big [sarcasm] tags round it to help the hard-of-humour .... Biggles (121)

You're kidding right? I know we review digital cameras in our magazine so you can't take anything we say seriously, but please tell me you don't believe what you just said...

549935 2007-05-16 22:22:00 Hmmm, I think I'd take a magazine editor with a scalpel over a trained professional any day. No offence to Bruce and the team :D Shortcircuit (1666)
549936 2007-05-17 06:10:00 Some people have no funny bones. :rolleyes:I don't think that's the lack. Stimulating the "funny bone" is not funny. That hurts. Some people just seem to believe that everything they see on a computer screen is (a) serious, and (b) true. Graham L (2)
