| 743978 | 2009-02-01 18:42:00 | Well, 2 days ago I reinstalled my OS and now once in a while my screen starts flashing on and off and my PC runs very slow. I think this only happens when I start gaming but I'm not 100% sure. This has never happened to me before. My specs are: OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU @ 2.40GHz 2G RAM ATI Radeon HD 4870 500GB Hard Drive Realtek HD Audio My PC is about a 1 1/2 years old but my video card is around 4 month old I think. |

| 743980 | 2009-02-02 01:10:00 | Ohhh don't like the sound of that. i had the same problem after a capasitor blew on my 7600gt Games would run for a bit then artifact, buzz out, then whole comp would stop and when running windows screen would flash and so on. if you have onboard graphics try running with that and see if there is any difference, if not check your graphics card for damage or try reconnecting it. if it works for a while then starts doing it again could br a tell tail sigh |
