| 744501 | 2009-02-03 05:19:00 | Want to connect a tv to a spare computer the TV is an older crt and has AV ports what connection do I need on the computer and how powerful would the computer need to be to stream video's as our DVD player has died and was thinking of using one of the spare machines instead but don't know how best to connect them. One spare machine has an s-video out port a yellow colour would I need to connect the sound as well? Thanks |

| 744502 | 2009-02-03 05:32:00 | Something similar to this (cgi.ebay.ca A_Cables_Adapters?hash=item390028273226#ebayphotoh osting) But the s-video at one end Or the s-video at one end and 3 male rca plugs (1 is for video the other 2 are for sound), at the other. Otherwise, you'll need another adapter (3 male RCA to plug into the above connector) |

| 744506 | 2009-02-03 13:38:00 | some of those ones on TM are just passive adaptors and need a certian vid card for it to work properly. there are adaptors for VGA or RGB to composite however they are likely to be expensive. you will also need a 3.5mm plug to audio RCA cable to plug the audio into the tele | williamF (115) | ||
