552041 2007-05-22 10:00:00 £30 for land line cell phone and broadband,thats 8mbps.

Bought a 4 gig usb drive for £40.
The computer I am on at the moment is only 1 mbps, which appears to be about the same as my NZ connection.

The cheapest 4GB USB drive on PriceSpy is $51.50 (equal to 19GBP) so there are some things we are better off with in NZ.

552044 2007-05-22 11:19:00 IT equipment is generally more expensive in the UK than here.
I looked at some while I was there last year and found this to be true.

I also looked in Singapore but found that I could get stuff cheaper here in NZ.

UK prices for hardware is a lot cheaper...I lived there for 14yrs, and miss the cheap components...<sniff>.

Could you please quote in Euros? We, in NZ, used to use Pounds, Shillings, Pence. Then we changed to decimal around 1967. What is a "land line cell phone"? Then which ISP are you using.

What does it cost you for 1 Kilogram of Fillet steak? That is Eye fillet rather than Scotch Fillet.

You could always go back then to buy a USB drive. The air or boat fare return would upset me a little.

This does not appear to be careless spelling.
