550621 2007-05-18 06:02:00 Whoever wrote this needs to see someone............

Robot minds of robot slaves lead them to atomic rage
Plastic flowers, melting sun, fading moon falls upon
Dying world of radiation, victims of mad frustration
Burning globe of oxyn fire, like electric funeral pyre.

Quickly.

Its Black Sabbath.

And the song is warning of the perils of the nuclear arms race, and written in 1970.

Thus far,a waste of ink,I am sure you will agree.

Depressing bugger.

Still, the real good stuff isn't for everyone.

Pity you are alone with that song, and yet again,no reason that we should all be miserable.
I think to be great it has to be positive.

550625 2007-05-19 00:00:00 Well, Its meant to be "heavy" after all, And it does get positive..

Buildings crashing down to a cracking ground
Rivers turn to wood, ice melting to flood
Earth lies in death bed, clouds cry water dead
Tearing life away, here's the burning pay

Electric Funeral
Electric Funeral
Electric Funeral
Electric Funeral

And so in the sky shines the electric eye
supernatural king takes earth under his wing
Heaven's golden chorus sings, Hell's angels flap their wings
Evil souls fall to Hell, ever trapped in burning cells!

See, Good old God rocks up, sorts out the mess and sends all the politicians to hell. For a song about the actions of mankind being the catalyst for bringing on the last fight between good and evil its pure party music.

I give it a -2. I don't think I can dance to the beat...but Tony Iomi (SP?) is great....

Funny how so few people realise that Black Sabbath we're a God fearing Christian band who used shock tactics to draw attention to their message, with the obvious motive of preaching to those who need "saving".

Equally funny was the irony of some Christian people who didn't realise what was going on, and condemned the band as the devils work. Also the ironic metal movements that have followed, and tried to live up to the acusation!

Aren't humans funny!!!!!!

Black Sabbath's "Children of the Grave" is a song that blatently preached "be good and go to heaven, or be bad and go to hell", and yet people didn't realize BS were a Christian band :groan:
