More and more parents are giving plastic surgery as that gift. If you have a son or daughter who has had a tummy tuck, facial work, enhancements, or any other plastic surgery, we'd like to hear from you. The same goes for graduates on the receiving end of those gifts. Can ya' dig it? A boob-job for graduation...hahahahaha This is a notice in the local cageliner (newspaper) here in the SoCal area. The iBreast will cost between $499 and $599. This is considered to be a major breakthrough because women are always complaining about men staring at their breasts and not listening to them. |

| 550616 | 2007-05-17 21:38:00 | Only in America . . . . . . Saw on TV news last night about the American Grandfather who gave his 10 month old grandson a 12 gauge shotgun . Father' for a laugh put in a $5 application and now the wee fella is a licenced gun owner . Photo and all on it . Wonderfull!!!!! ???? Ken That's funny . . . kinda! What youse guys DON'T understand is that the ownership of guns are controlled by the individual state of the resident . I cannot say what state he was from . . but it makes stooopid sense since sometimes people have their dogs get social security cards and retirement benefits too . The state that issued a permit to "own" a gun by a minor, may not be in alignment with your ideas of legitimacy or not . . . but that problem is not typical . Most states do not require ANY REGISTRATION at all of a firearm . Some do . . and make it impossible to obtain such a permit unless the person who is applying is a judge, peace officer or security guard . Sadly, thieves, murderers and gang members don't adhere to any state's laws and if they own a gun . . . far be it from them to even consider registering it if they reside in a state requiring such registration . There IS NO FEDERAL REQUIREMENT TO REGISTER A GUN . . . . not counting machine guns which are not allowed under any state or federal laws unless the person is a registered and legally licensed gun collector . I don't own any firearms at present, but I do appreciate the machinery and the artistic work on them . Some states are so wide-open and wild yet, that carrying a gun . . . make this differentiation here . . . . is a safety device in such territory . Most smart trout fishermen, who go to the deepest "hidey-holes" for trout also carry a . 44 Automag or . 357 sidearm for protection against bears . Much less firepower will only succeed in making a bear really angry and liable to eat you as justifiable punishment . Carrying a concealed weapon (either a pistol or rifle or shotgun) is legal in some states . . . some with a license requirement, others without such licensing required . It's up to the state that is passing the rules to decide what's best for it's citizenry . Just a curious point here: New York . . . the city, has the stiffest gun laws in the nation . Called the "Sullivan Act" it makes it virtually impossible to own, have in your house or on your possession ANY SORT of firearm at all . . . yet New York has more homicides via guns than you might want to imagine . So . . . taking a shot at some yahoo who gets his grandkid a shotgun owner's permit is not a valid complaint . . . not legally anyway . Socially and/or morally . . that may be a different story . |
