I find that the queries are returning more relevant results than pricespy, for example, i was looking for a new 320GB hard disk, [somewhere] gave me mostly the 320 hard disks but pricespy gave me 80GB hard disks www.pricespy.co.nz

I think i've found a new winner :)

553193 2007-05-26 03:09:00 Search engines are all different. If you want 320GB disks, why not ask pricespy in a way that suits its search engine? Here's my result (www.pricespy.co.nz/search.php?q=320GB) from that. These look like 320 GB disks to me. If you want to refine the list, it looks as if "7200rpm", and maybe "16MB" would be better keywords than 7200 and 16 .

Pricespy do say that keywords with fewer than 3 characters are ignored. I suspect that only "7200" was recognised in your search, so the 80GB 7200rpm drives would come first in the list. 320 GB would come later.

P.S. I see I missed out "Seagate". What a pity. ;) I'm sure that would be accepted too.

I have not used this. I do not use Pricespy either. And why would you use +16 in the search string.

Being as I do not click on links and have not used any links above... How is this more relevant?

553195 2007-05-26 03:30:00 I love the internet. People leave footprints everywhere. Including yours jshadez. You live in Sydney, I somehow doubt you will be using the mentioned NZ version of that website to order a hard drive. You have also been pushing the Australian version of it as far back as in 2004, but you only recently managed to hear about this one?

Please read the forum rules regarding posting purely to promote your website.

And why did Jen edit my post?
Did not think I did anything wrong.

553197 2007-05-26 04:56:00 You quoted the original post, so I had to edit your post as well to remove the URL. What you posted (wrote) wasn't edited. Didn't you notice that? Jen (38)

Fair enough.
