| 553464 | 2007-05-27 03:07:00 | Mt Palomar certainly has a stellar reputation (excuse the pun) for the astronomical work done there over many years. Along with the Hubble Space Telescope it has contributed hugely to our knowledge of the Universe. Of course Edwin Hubble was one of the early users of the 200 inch Mt Palomar telescope. We can report that New Zealand is becoming increasingly of interest to astronomers due to the clear air, especially in the South Island, and the freedom from light contamination. Disturbed at your reference to being 'between surgeries'. If you are having health problems, my best wishes for a speedy return to good health. Cheers |

| 553466 | 2007-05-27 03:23:00 | Well . . I have a hernia surgery that used a recalled mesh that they have to remove and replace with another one . They say this is REALLY gonna hurt worse than the original surgery . The general discomfort with the recalled mesh is kinda hard to explain . . . imagine you have a toothpick in your shorts and that you look like a neutered cat . OK? Get the idea? Then . . Oh, Yes! Then they discovered that I have ANOTHER HERNIA on the other side . . another inguinal one! Rats! Thanks for the kind words . . . just as long as I get enough Vicadin . . . things will be rosy! |

| 553467 | 2007-05-27 04:42:00 | Hi Surferjoe Your photos are interesting, however, I am a bit dismayed that the photos that I contributed earlier have disappeared ! Thought at first that perhaps it was because access to see your photos was through PressF1 - but when I logged on to the site in the normal way they do not show either. Also cannot now see the photos contributed by Metla or JamesKan etc ?? Misty :( |

Just wait till I get my OWN site! I am truly sorry..did you save them? Can you PM them to me and I can retry to enter them...it's an administrator's thing I think...I bet I can get more storage if I ask them. |

I have no idea what Vicadin is. I had a hernia on my right or possibly your left as we are upside down. :-) My Doctor sent me about 80 kilometres away for surgery. I drove there and my Wife drove me back home same day. I had the next day off work. And after I kept on working. If you do not work then I suspect you will not get a hernia so I thank you. |
