746543 2009-02-10 06:13:00 Hi Everyone

My OEM OS comes with Windows Media Player 11. Ever since December 2008 I had to reinstall my OS within 30 Days until now.

Anyway, At the time when I was using a "non-genuine" copy of XP, I used Windows Media Player 10. I've gotten so used to how the way WMP 10 worked that I don't like WMP 11 much. (Sometimes I even think WMP 9 is better!)

My question is, which Media Player should I use? I was going to remove and the install WMP 9/10, but I thought having the latest software is best.

I have posted a poll.

Thanks a lot.:thanks:thanks:thanks:thanks:thanks

Gomplayer or VLC.

Mediamonkey for managing all my music.

WMP 11 maybe...

746546 2009-02-10 06:20:00 Well I wouldnt use realplayer, if it was the last program on the planet. Its crap

I wouldnt say WMP is the best program to use.

There are better programs, like Mediamonkey / Winamp / VLC for DVD's

746547 2009-02-10 06:30:00 WMP 11, sometimes VLC. qazwsxokmijn (102)
746548 2009-02-10 07:24:00 AIMP2 for general day to day playing of Music,

VLC for some, but Mostly "Media Player Classic Home Cinema" for Movies, DVD's - it has loads of options to change the movies, (colors, Aspect Ratio's just to name a few) plays just about anything.

Itunes for - well Itunes music, and online radio - loads of free stations all streaming.

Winamp with plugins for Karaoke ( and a few dozen Tui's) :stare:

WMP11 if its a player I have to use.

746551 2009-02-10 07:59:00 realplayer is crap, only use MP11 if i have to GameJunkie (72)
746552 2009-02-10 08:20:00 VLC + WMP11

RealPlayer honestly gives me the shudders. It belongs in the same group as Norton.
