746086 2009-02-09 00:46:00 I hope you guys can help me as I’m not 100% sure what the best option is. We are about to open a bar and we already got our sound system installed. Initially the plan was to use our old laptop as a source to play through the system but unfortunately the sound is not good enough which is because of the tiny sound card.

I have been told to get an external sound card but who knows if this will do the trick. Are there any other options available you guys might be able to think of? Basically we want to rip all our CD’s on a hard drive and manage playlists.

Thanks in advance!

You'll get about 280-300 MP3's on a CD. Or more (probably 6x more), if you burn to DVD.
