745918 2009-02-08 01:30:00 My mate has installed Windows 7 (beta) and now he can't access his ISP usage meter.

Can someone with IE8 try it for him and see if their IE can open it, I have Windows 7 beta also but am away from home at the moment.

Here' the page,

http://webmail.optuszoo.com.au/

See if you can open the "my usage" tab

Everytime he trys to access it it crashes IE8

Here's a direct link to the page, I don't know if he can open it from this I have just emailed him.

Doesn't work for 7 speedy.

This taken from extremetech

"Also, don't try installing this version if you're running Windows 7—you'll just get a message that says "Internet Explorer 8 is not supported on this operating system." This makes sense, because although IE8 will be the browser that comes with Windows 7, the RC1 installers are for Vista (in both 32- and 64-bit flavors) and XP."

745925 2009-02-11 19:45:00 Hi, my name’s Feran and I’m working with the Internet Explorer Outreach Team to provide assistance and help answer questions people might have about Internet Explorer.

I just wanted to clarify that at this time IE8 RC1 is not compatible with Windows 7, so that is why Radium has been unable to download it. Windows 7 users will get an updated IE8 with the next update of Windows 7.
Currently IE8 RC1 can be downloaded using Vista, XP, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2003.

I hope this helps,

Feran
