That thought did occur to me Metla, although if you already owned a suitable Mac and happened to miss your PC gaming experience then all you would need to do would be to install Parallels + XP or Vista and your games. I will be interested to see how it gets reviewed because I would like to know how PC gaming on a Mac running Parallels compares to on a PC - worse, better or the same?? Considering it has never been done before. |

| 554961 | 2007-06-01 08:33:00 | Yeah, dribble. Agreed! Running emulators is CPU intensive, so you will need powerful hardware to run the game at decent settings compared to a PC... I am NEVER going to get a Mac :D |

I am NEVER going to get a Mac :D I have to say that running XP in Parallels is no where near as bad as Virtual PC was on the old PPC Macs. That was seriously sluggish. I haven't noticed any issues regard Windows lagging for any reason, and I have only allocated it the standard 512MB. With regards to CPU, I am on a 2.16Ghz Core 2 Duo which is mid range. |

| 554963 | 2007-06-01 09:27:00 | That maybe so, but you try running a really CPU intensive game and get back to me ;) | The_End_Of_Reality (334) | ||

| 554966 | 2007-06-01 10:17:00 | Well said Metla esp the fact that mac-owners pay so much for the "joyous experience" of running Mac and the "stylish hardware" only to have to look for a way to start using Windows again and then still have the gall to call Windows/PC owners stupid and tell us what we're missing on. To me, we miss nothing. |
