| 746329 | 2009-02-11 02:12:00 | i will try this MTU think, this could possibly work. i have checked all the setting etc in internet protocol everything on the computer is right, i have done much testing as telstra has asked me to in the past and they isnt work either.... as far as my friend is concerned his connection is with Telecom, so when i went over there my comp worked... my other firend brought his router to my house we altered it to my setting ie usename and password etc and my computer didnt work even after using a different router. |

His router probably had different MTU settings to yours. |

| 746331 | 2009-02-12 21:14:00 | hey all i thought id just post a quick update, i have solved the problem, i chaged the MTU setting to 1492 on my router... my next question would be why did this happen, what would cause me to have to chnage this setting?? |
