| 746131 | 2009-02-11 18:12:00 | The two O/S's are living happily , each in their own partition and not interfering with each other. Dual boot works as advertised. No problems with 64 bit drivers. 7 told me what it needed and found them without any help from me. 7 is good, no doubt about that. I would be quite happy to use it as my sole OS. I have installed a second copy of MS Flight simulator X on the same drive as 7 without any problem. It works well. But I come to the end of the road when I try to install addons. The addons, mostly from ORBX are self installing. No options about where do I want them. They just finish up in the 32 bit version regardless of the fact that I install them from the 64 bit drive. Looks like I've got to decide whether to get rid of XP or 7. |
