| 554563 | 2007-05-31 09:19:00 | Hey all! Thanks for all the wishings and mouse-clickings as well as nose-sniffings to check out this thread! The Biology quiz that I was talking about was an online Multi-Choice Question (MCQ) test that can be done anywhere. The quizzes each contributes 1 mark to your paper (in this case, my Biology paper). Coincidentally, the due date for the quiz is on my birthday, hence the rush to get it done as soon as possible. There are 100 tries in total for each quiz, but only the highest mark will be recorded. There were 20 questions in total for each quiz, but since every question accounts for 0.05 mark, as a 20/20-perfect-score die-hard, I wanted to try my best to get the maximum score for each of the quiz - which I finally did at wee morning of today. I know of a student who finally got 20/20 after 99 attempts. :stare: Anyway, enough of deviation from the intended purpose of this thread. Yeah, I had a wonderful day today, which was beyond my expectation as I thought "this is just going to be another day where I have to stress and study". It all first started off when a friend of mine gave me a present which constituted of a bar of chocolate and a $20 Whitcoulls voucher. After that, two other friends of mine treated me to a sushi lunch. Lastly, just before I attended my first lecture, two other of my good friends bought me a "mini yogurt cake" and we actually had a candle lit on it while they sung "the song". It was really touching to know that they really care about my birthday. In addition to the cake, they also gave me a $20 Vodafone prepay recharge card, which is just in time before I have to expend $10 for my monthly messaging needs! Back home, dad bought one of those KFC combos for my birthday dinner - nothing too special about it, just that the spicy chickens are really spicy. Regarding my "meh" remark, you can't really expect much from person who is well exhausted, can you? Having said so, it is still to my extreme importance that my language be corrected from time to time. :p Cheers :) |
