2007-05-31 03:37:00 | Apparently the reason my supplier switched to these new Couriers was because too many parcels were getting lost with CourierPost and there were too many fights making claims with them. So they are sending my new replacement via NZCouriers. I've come to the conclusion the lot are useless. I am in the process of fighting NZPost on a parcel I sent that went missing. And I am waiting for Post Haste to tell me what happened to my brothers PC that he sent down to me that appears to have gne AWOL.

2007-05-31 03:53:00 | Its a big risk sending stuff (especailly expensive stuff ) through courier companies but than again that may be the only option you might have. I guess its just pay and pray that the package reaches the intended destination. I m sure the courier companies also provide some sort of insurance. I hope your brother chose some sort of insurance if the PC was an expensive one. | ronyville (10611) | |
2007-05-31 04:10:00 | Perhaps a new courier company could be started with the name and motto "Festina lente". | Graham L (2) | |
2007-05-31 04:43:00 | Hurry Slowly eh??? Yeah, that would be one courier company i would use as long as they kept their motto's promise. | beeswax34 (63) | |
2007-05-31 11:38:00 | couries and transport compinies know they have you by the balls. unless you pick it up yourself you have to use them. i've had parcels cut into and parts stolen. any parcel that sounded like it had coins in it went missing. tracing/tracking etc total waste of time. you eventally run out of companies to avoid useing and no company admited fault let alone paid for the stolen gear.

2007-05-31 23:02:00 | Well I had a parcel delivered this week that was an unsealed cardboard box with a keyboard in it, the address was on a scrap of paper held to the box with one short piece of tape. A disgusting example of packing, but a demonstration of great care by the courier. Fastway Couriers got the box and contents here in one piece and without any visible damage whatsoever. :) I would say that involved pretty good handling at every stage from Wellington to Auckland. They are now my couriers of choice.

2007-06-01 11:30:00 | I send parcels & receive them too most days of the week & for out of town stuff NZC I have found are the best. 9 time out of 10 it's overnight delivery nationwide. If something does goes west whilst in transit though, they're track & trace system & customer service is probably the worst you could hope to receive. But I'd rather risk that than send it on some of the previously mentioned couriers & wait upto 4 days in the worst case for delivery. As for damage? None of them care cos it aint they're stuff they're carrying | Phil B (648) | |
2007-06-01 23:54:00 | Well I had a parcel sent from HK.The courier guy delivered it to the WRONG ADDRESS and the address was written correctly The person looked at the person's name in the phone book and went to deliver the parcel to the correct address. LOL.Stupid Courier Driver

2007-06-02 00:28:00 | I get parcels delivered by courier two or three times a week and have probably had every company delivering to me. I have never had anything go astray. And all deliveries have been prompt. My grizzle is the problems I have getting something picked up. Most of them don't seem to want the work. "Can't pick it up till tomorrow" is a common reply. Overall I think NZC is by far the best. They are fast and efficient. The only problem with them is that they are also the most expensive.

2007-06-02 01:26:00 | Well my brothers PC finally turned up. NZCouriers bought it out, I wasn't home so they ledt a card and dropped it at the local dairy. As they should. NZCouriers and Post Haste are the same company BTW.
