These laptops seem to be pretty popular at the moment but my problem is that it's my mums and she's on the other side of the Southern Alps. We used to use Skype all the time with no issues but now skype says it cannot connect and she is unable to hear any sound coming from her machine at all. I have remoted in and all her settings seem o.k. She has done a system restore, (Thank goodness and congrats mum even getting an oldie to do that is good). After doing the system restore everything works fine untill the next time she tries to skype. I have reinstalled skype but this problem seems to re-occur. I think I'll try and get her to use the 'not so good' windows live messenger for a while to see if the problem re occurrs. Does anyone else have any other suggestions..? |
